On December 1, I attended the Online to Offline Webinar hosted by KaBOOM! and AmeriCorps Alums. This free hour-long session was really informative about ways nonprofits can use social media and web resources to drive community action. The hosts work in the communications department of nonprofit organizations here in DC and are very knowledgable about using Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr and other web resources to reach your target audience and promote community involvement.
